WEEK OF MARCH 9 - 13

8TH ACADEMIC ALGEBRA - There is a quiz on Monday on sections 5.5-5.7.   Tuesday through Friday we will be working on sections 6.1 and 6.2. 


ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - This week we are reviewing Geometric Mean and Simplifying Radicals.  We will have a quiz this week on those topics, either Thursday or Friday.


BASIC GEOMETRY - This week we are working on sections 10.1-10.2  

FEBRUARY 3 - 7

8TH ACADEMIC ALGEBRA - This week we are working on sections 4.3 and 4.4.  Our next quiz will cover sections 4.1-4.4, and may be Thursday or Friday. 


ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - This week we are working on Trapezoids and Kites.  We will have our next test on chapter 6 within the next week. 


BASIC GEOMETRY - This week we will have a quiz on Parallelograms and their properties.  The quiz will either be Thursday or Friday.

WEEK OF JANUARY 21-24

8TH ACADEMIC ALGEBRA 1A -  We will be finishing chapter 3 this week and we will have a 100 point test on that chapter (mostly 3.2, 3.4, 3.7 3.8).  The test will be Thursday or Friday. 


ACADEMID ALGEBRA - On Tuesday, we will have a quiz on chapter 5 and section 6.1.  We will then continue with chapter 6 on Wednesday. 


BASIC GEOMETRY - This week we will be working on section 3.1.  Our next quiz will cover parts of chapter 5 and section 6.1.  That quiz could be this Friday or early next week. 

JANUARY 2 - JANUARY 15

After the Christmas break, there are only 10 school days left in the 2nd Quarter of the year.  All classes will be having a Mid Year Test, covering anything we have done throughout the school year.  The test will be worth 100 points, and will be the last test of the marking period.  Theses tests will take place the week of January 6-10.  We will review a couple days for each test.  The 8th grade Algebra students will also have a quiz on section 3.4, Slope, early in the week, before we start to review for the Mid Year Test.
