WEEK OF APRIL 18TH

PRE ALGEBRA - PSSA's will be done on Thursday.  We will then continue working on equations in chapter 8.  We will complete sections 8.3-8.5 and then have a quiz.  After that, we will work on sections 8.6 and 8.7, we may have a quiz on those two sections.  We will then follow up with a test on all of chapter 8.  That should take us into early May.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will working on Perimeter and Area in the next two weeks.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY -  We will be starting chapter 10 - Circles- this week.

WEEK OF MARCH 28

PRE ALGEBRA - We will have a test on Tuesday on chapter 7, however this test will count as a 4th quarter grade even though the new marking period is starting on Thursday. We will then start working in chapter 8.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will have a quiz on Tuesday on Square Roots and the Pythagorean Theorem, however this grade will count as a 4th quarter grade even though the new marking period is starting on Thursday.  We will then start on chapter 10.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - This week, we will be working on sections 8.1-8.3.

WEEK OF MARCH 14TH

PRE ALGEBRA - We are working on sections 7.3-7.4.  We will have a quiz on sections 7.1-7.4 sometime later this week.  We may also have one more chapter test that will count towards the 3rd marking period,which ends March 30.

BASIC GEOMETRY - The chapter 6 test is on Tuesday.  We will then start chapter 8, which will be simplifying radicals, and using the Pythagorean Theorem.  We may also have one more quiz before the end of the 3rd marking period, which ends March 30.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - Same schedule as Basic Geometry.

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 29TH

PRE ALGEBRA - We will have a test on chapter 6 (sections 6.1, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6) on Wednesday.  We will then start on chapter 7 on Thursday.

BASIC GEOMETRY - This week we will be working on sections 6.2 and 6.4.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - This week we will be working on sections 6.2, 6.4, 6.5 and 6.6.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - This week will be the same as the Basic Geometry.

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 1ST

PRE ALGEBRA - We will be working on sections 5.9 and 5.10 this week and hopefully end the week with a quiz on 5.7-5.10 Proportions.  We will then have a chapter 5 test next week.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will be working on sections 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, and have our next quiz on those 3 sections.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will review for a chapter 4 test on Monday and Tuesday, and the test should be on Wednesday, or Thursday at the latest.  We will then start on chapter 5.

JANUARY 4TH - JANUARY 19TH

PRE ALGEBRA -  We will work on section 5.4.  After that, we will start to prepare for the midterm exam.  The exam will cover any section we did throughout the year (1.1-5.4).  The midterm exam has no effect on the 2nd quarter grade.  The exam days are:  1st Period - Wed Jan 13;  4th Period - Fri Jan 15; 8th Period - Tue Jan 19.  Weather permitting!!!!!

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will work on sections 4.5-4.6. We will then start to review for the midterm exam which will cover sections 1.1-4.6.  The exam days are:  5th Period - Fri Jan 15; 7th Period - Tue Jan 19.  Weather Permitting!!!!

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will work on section 4.4, proofs.  We will have a quiz on sections 4.1-4.3 on Wed Jan 6.  We will then start to review for the midterm exams which will cover sections 1.1-4.4.  The exam days are:  3rd Period - Thur Jan 14; 6th Period - Thur Jan 14.  Weather Permitting!!!
