JANUARY 4TH - JANUARY 19TH

PRE ALGEBRA -  We will work on section 5.4.  After that, we will start to prepare for the midterm exam.  The exam will cover any section we did throughout the year (1.1-5.4).  The midterm exam has no effect on the 2nd quarter grade.  The exam days are:  1st Period - Wed Jan 13;  4th Period - Fri Jan 15; 8th Period - Tue Jan 19.  Weather permitting!!!!!

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will work on sections 4.5-4.6. We will then start to review for the midterm exam which will cover sections 1.1-4.6.  The exam days are:  5th Period - Fri Jan 15; 7th Period - Tue Jan 19.  Weather Permitting!!!!

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will work on section 4.4, proofs.  We will have a quiz on sections 4.1-4.3 on Wed Jan 6.  We will then start to review for the midterm exams which will cover sections 1.1-4.4.  The exam days are:  3rd Period - Thur Jan 14; 6th Period - Thur Jan 14.  Weather Permitting!!!

WEEK OF DECEMBER 14

PRE ALGEBRA - We will have a quiz on Tuesday on sections 4.1 and 5.1.  We will then start to work on sections 5.2 and 5.3 the rest of the week.  We may have one more quiz before the Christmas break, possibly next Tuesday on sections 5.1-5.3.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will have a quiz on Tuesday on sections 4.1-4.3.  We will then work on sections 4.4-4.6 up until the Christmas break.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will be working on sections 4.1-4.4 up until Christmas break,  We may have a quiz before the break.

 

WEEK OF DECEMBER 1ST

PRE ALGEBRA - We will have our test on chapter 3 on Thursday.  We will then start section 4.1 after that.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will be working on sections 4.1-4.3 during the week.  We will have a quiz on those sections next week.


ACADEMIC GEOMETRY- We will have a test on chapter 3 on Friday.

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16

PRE ALGEBRA - We started section 3.6 on Monday.  We will have a quiz this week on sections 3.5-3.6.  We will try and have a test on chapter 3 - Fractions, before we go on Thanksgiving break, so hopefully by next Tuesday.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will be reviewing for a test on chapter 3 starting today.  Expect the test to be either Wed, Thur, or Fri.  We will chapter 4 after the test.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We are working on section 3.3 on Monday.  We will have a quiz this week on sections 3.1-3.3.  We will then start on section 3.5, and after the Thanksgiving break, have a test on chapter 3.

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2

PRE ALGEBRA - This week we will be reviewing sections 3.1-3.4.  We will have a quiz later this week on those sections.  The quiz will count towards the 2nd marking period, which begins on Wednesday.

BASIC GEOMETREY - We will review sections 3.1-3.2, on parallel lines.  We will have a quiz this week that will count towards the 2nd marking period.  Any absent homework from last week not turned in by Tuesday will receive a Zero.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will start chapter 3 this week.  We will cover sections 3.1 and 3.2.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 26

PRE ALGEBRA - We had our chapter 2 on Monday.  We will be working on chapter 3 starting Tuesday.  Sections 3.1 and 3.2 this week.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We are now in chapter 3.  We will be going over sections 3.1 and 3.2 along with review worksheets this week.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We are in chapter 2 this week.  We started 2.6 on Monday and will continue on Tuesday.  We will work on 2.7 and 2.8 during the next few days.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 19

PRE ALGEBRA - We will be reviewing for a chapter two test this week.  The test will either by on Wednesday or Thursday.  After that, we will be starting on chapter 3.\
OUR CHAPTER 2 TEST WILL NOW BE ON MONDAY OCTOBER 26 FOR ALL 3 CLASSES.

BASIC GEOMETRY - We will quickly be moving through chapter 2 this week.  Covering sections 2.1, 2.5, 2.6.

ACADEMIC GEOMETRY - We will quickly be moving through chapter 2 this week.  Covering sections 2.1, 2.5, 2.6
